USER DATA DELETION

This page explains how you can delete your Life for Love account and the personal data we hold about you, including the data we receive when you sign in with Facebook or Google.

1. What data we store

When you register on our website or sign in with a social account, we store:

• your account details: name, email address, password (in encrypted form);
• your profile data: age, country, photos, videos, interests and other information you add yourself;
• your activity on the platform: messages, dialogs, contacts, favorites, notifications;
• data received from your social account when you use social sign-in: your social network user ID, name, email address and profile picture;
• technical and payment records: log files, device data, transaction history.

We never receive your social network password, and we never post anything on your behalf.

2. How to delete your account in the app

The fastest way is to request deletion directly from your account:

1. log in to lifeforlove.com with the account you want to delete;
2. open the Account page (your profile);
3. click the options button next to «Edit» in the top right corner of your profile;
4. choose Delete account in the drop-down menu;
5. press Confirm in the «Confirm you want to delete account» window;
6. the support chat opens with the message «I want to delete my account!» already typed in the input field — press the send button to submit your request.

Your request is only submitted once the message is sent — you will see it appear in the chat history. Our support team then verifies that the request comes from the account owner and deletes the account and the related personal data.

3. How to request deletion by email

If you cannot log in to your account, send us a request instead:

• write to support@lifeforlove.com from the email address linked to your account, or use our Contact us form;
• use the subject line «User data deletion»;
• include the email address (or the profile ID) of the account to be deleted and mention whether you signed in with Facebook or Google.

We may ask you for additional information to confirm your identity. This is done solely to make sure that nobody else can delete your account.

4. What happens after your request

• we confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days;
• the account is deactivated and becomes invisible to other users;
• your personal data — profile, photos and videos, messages, contacts and the connection to your Facebook or Google account — is deleted within 30 days of the confirmed request;
• backup copies are overwritten in the normal backup rotation cycle, no later than 90 days after deletion;
• we notify you by email once the deletion is complete.

Deletion is permanent. A deleted account, its correspondence and its purchased services cannot be restored.

5. Data we are required to keep

Some records must be retained after account deletion because of legal obligations. We keep them in a minimised or anonymised form, without your profile content:

• payment and transaction records — for the period required by tax law and by the rules of payment providers;
• records needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to handle complaints and abuse reports;
• records of users blocked for violating our rules, so that the account cannot simply be re-created.

6. Removing Life for Love from your Facebook account

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also revoke our app's access on Facebook's side:

1. open Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings;
2. select Apps and Websites;
3. find Life for Love in the list and press Remove.

This stops any further data exchange between Facebook and our service. Please note that removing the app on Facebook does not by itself delete the account you created on our website — to delete it, use section 2 or 3 above.
