In 95 percent of cases, the neologism "corporate party" shyly hides an event that in fact should be called a "corporate party". The word "party", of course, does not sound, but a decent, but not quite appropriate in meaning and heavy "corporate event" is not to anyone's liking. Therefore, they came up with the universal word "corporate" - it sounds short, solid - no hint of fun after hours. Why corporate parties are most often held on the eve of New Year holidays. Because not everyone celebrates company birthdays and professional holidays, and there are so many professional holidays in our country that we can celebrate them every month
