The rapidly changing world around us obliges schools to change just as rapidly. Today the world is taking a leap into the digital age. Think about it: tablets, cell phones, smartwatches, and virtual reality glasses are now firmly embedded in the daily lives of today's students. Our digital lives are rapidly evolving. And at lessons to show presentations, video clips, audio applications - this is no longer a novelty. Digital technology is the foundation of education in the 21st century. Every modern teacher understands, that it is necessary to teach in a new way, using innovative computer technologies in the educational process. Digital Educational Resources (DER) - are necessary for the organization of the educational process and presented in digital form photographs, video clips, models, role-playing games, cartographic materials, selected in accordance with the content of a particular textbook, "tied" to the lesson plan and equipped with the necessary methodological recommendations. The introduction of new information technologies, DER, in the educational process makes it possible to intensify the learning process, increase the pace of the lesson, increase the amount of independent and individual work of students. Today, for the learning process to be full-fledged, it is necessary that each teacher could prepare and hold a lesson using various electronic educational resources because their use is able to make the lesson more vivid, exciting, rich and more effective. The use of DER at geography lessons allows to diversify the forms of work, student activities, to intensify attention, increases the creative potential of the individual. Construction of schemes, tables, and presentations saves time and makes the material more aesthetically pleasing. The use of crossword puzzles, illustrations, drawings, puzzles, various entertaining tasks, tests, bring up interest to the lesson, make it more interesting. The use of the lessons allows the use of a variety of illustrative and informational material. And the material can also be found by the students themselves on the Internet. Thus, informative competence of students is formed. The use of interactive tests helps not only save time of the teacher but also gives students an opportunity to estimate their knowledge and their capabilities. The use of animation and animation diversify lessons, activate students. A lecture with the use of a multimedia projector sounds interesting when the lecture is accompanied by the demonstration of colorful diagrams to the students. The use of electronic educational resources in the learning process provides great opportunities and prospects for independent creative and research activity of students.
