Despite the fact that different areas of daily life and economic sectors in the world are subjected to daily modernization - what digitalization is - not everyone knows. Digitalization is the introduction of modern digital technology into various spheres of life and production. This process is understood as the introduction at a fairly high rate of new digital technologies. The term total digitalization also combines the process of converting primary data obtained into useful knowledge, which can then be used for different purposes, including trends of improvement and modern development to reduce labor costs in different systems of human activity. Digitalization can provide a response to new challenges and perspectives. Therefore, the national projects for the introduction of mass digitalization in different sectors of the economy and population life spheres have become one of the priority and are controlled not only by the government and different ministries, but also by a number of local government organizations. But for small, and for global changes in a company, you need a strategy. It will help introduce technology into business processes consciously, to the benefit of the company, rather than simply taking what worked for a competitor. In the late 1990s, the world started talking about IoT and the digital economy. Since then, more than 20 years have passed, and the Internet of Things has become a familiar phenomenon for us: almost everyone has smart devices at home, of which there are already more than 26 billion units worldwide, and we have bought almost 20 million SIM cards for IoT equipment in the last year alone. Digitalization, in global terms, is a concept of economic activity based on digital technologies implemented in different areas of life and production. And this concept is widely implemented in all countries without exception. Digitalization technologies have been successfully implemented in recent years. But if the process has been underway for a long time, why do we not see the scale of it? It is simple: one of the indicators of successful global digitalization is open information, which changes social, political and business processes and leads to improved quality of life. There is one small nuance: in order to digitalize the entire country, it must first be electrified. For example, many people find it difficult to explain the advantage of a smart refrigerator that will check the freshness of food itself and order new ones if necessary. Especially if these people store all their food in the cellar and burn kerosene. They simply do not understand modern technology. If we cannot talk about the global digitalization of the country, then why do we use the expression "the age of change"? Change is really happening. Smart home appliances are taking care of themselves, information is being revealed, production processes are being controlled by machine vision, and robots are replacing humans in harmful jobs. But all this stuff only works if you live in big cities, where at least there is electricity and a cell phone tower. The era of change goes on within large cities and industrial centers. And beyond that, as usual, it's complicated. But as bad as things are in some places on our planet. It's not like that everywhere, and everyone understands that. Digital transformation is already slowly coming to all areas of business and everyone's lives, and over time, it will become more and more evident and visible.
